Confirmation

Confirmation at St. Vincent's Parish

Confirmation is celebrated by 10th grade students (or older) enrolled in the Religious Education Program  (Faith Formation Program).  Our next Confirmation Date is scheduled on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the St. Paul Cathedral.

Requirements for Confirmations through St. Vincent's Parish:

  • Attend Religious Education sessions.
  • Complete six group service projects with religious education class (one each for levels 7 & 8, two each for levels 9 & 10).
  • Attend one St. Vincent de Paul retreat in the 9th grade year and one in the 10th grade year.
  • Participate in a Confirmation interview in the 10th grade year.
  • Choose a Confirmation sponsor.
  • Attend Confirmation ceremony with sponsor.
