2011 Marathon Goal: $73,000, Status: Met!
We will have the day before Thanksgiving off!
Thanks to the generosity of St Vincent de Paul Students, Families, Parishioners and Community, we have many to say, “thank you” to.
Students and Parents:
You met your contract agreements and more! We had more company matching grants than ever. Some of you got creative, some of you wrote checks, some of you went door to door or got on the phone, but all of you got us within jumping range of the goal being met.
Parishioners:
More than $800 were collected from bulletin envelopes (thank you students, for your artistic efforts coloring the envelopes) and through the competition among Father Jack, Father Bennet & Ms. O'Hara. Congratulations go to Ms. O’Hara for bringing in $2,400 and winning the competition!
Kitchen Staff:
The 2nd Annual Marathon Bake Sale raised more than $550! Thank you to St. Vincent’s very own baker, Vicki, and the rest of the kitchen staff. They spent many hours stirring, baking, and frosting all of the delicious bread, cinnamon rolls and caramel rolls we all bought.
Community:
We enjoyed great weather, exercise and time together thanks to all of our donors. Please remember them when you are making purchases. Their generosity allowed us to pull off the Marathon day COST FREE: Elite Entertainment, General Mills c/o Mike Dulleman, Dave Thune - photos, Café Donuts/Kaleidoscoops, Byerly’s Bakery & Caribou Coffee, Oak Grove Pkwy Caribou Coffee, Maple Grove Caribou Coffee, Costco Bakery, Jack's Bakery, Cub Foods Bakery, Bruegger’s Bagels, Apple Jack Orchards, Culligan Bottled Water, and Kiddo Klips.
Café Donuts/Kaleidoscoops: Our St Vincent de Paul Day brought in $275! That is a lot of ice cream, donuts and coffee!
Other:
Thank you also for your generous prize donations - from SCRIP gift cards to DVDs to bags of licorice and more, your donations were awesome! Thank you also to Famous Dave's, General Mills, Broadway Pizza and Trader Joe's for their prize donations. Thanks to this generosity, more than 200 students were able to receive prizes. All prizes, except for the two grand prizes, were donated by St. Vincent de Paul Families and Parishioners.

- $250 Best Buy Gift Card: Jack Peterburs (7-MAC)
We have said it before, but we will say it again, St. Vincent de Paul Students, Families, Parishioners and Community truly do rock!
