Bereavement Ministries

Our "Arms of Hope" ministry is able to assist families as they journey through the many emotions and decisions that they will face. Our purpose is to provide families with a listening ear, information, and guidance to assure you that your baby will not be forgotten.

A special prayer service remembering those who have died in the last year and beyond.  The Remembrance Service is held in the month of November, the time in our Catholic tradition when we remember our deceased loved ones.

Our Grief Ministry is a faith based support group for the bereaved. Anyone who is in need of consolation after losing a loved is invited to attend. There are two sessions throughout the year - one session in the spring and one in the fall. Each session meets for 6 weeks from 7:00-8:30 PM in the West Meeting Room. 

Pastoral Care staff assist bereaved families in planning the funeral liturgy for their deceased loved ones. Pastoral care ministers follow a family through the funeral Mass, prayers and funeral luncheon. Pre-Planning Folders are available upon request.
