"Through the grace of the sacrament of marriage, parents receive the responsibility and privilege of evangelizing their children. Parents should initiate their children at an early age into the mysteries of the faith of which they are the 'first heralds' for their children.... A wholesome family life can foster interior dispositions that are a genuine preparation for a living faith and remain a support for it throughout one's life."
- Catechisms of the Catholic Church, paragraph 2225 -
Grades K-5 Family Faith Formation Program:
Family Faith Formation is our model for the 2025-2026 Faith Formation year. This means we gather at the Church in-person for one session each month. At those sessions, there will be three main portions of the evening:
1. Families gather in the Church for prayer
2. Parents and children split for lessons. The topic for each lesson will be the same across the board, but given at the appropriate grade level.
3. Parent discussion on the lessons in the Home Packet.
During the weeks without a family session, lessons will be given in the home by the parents. ALL LESSON MATERIALS AND CONTENT WILL BE PROVIDED.
Schedule of Lessons for the year
Catholic Prayers and Practices: As part of the curriculum, each grade level focuses on learning Catholic prayers and practices as appropriate to the child's development.
Word of God (W.O.G) Challenge:
